However, something the author mentioned in the opening of the post stuck with me.

I have to say, at first I was a little bit taken aback. Hey, it's good to be able to give good head but getting self esteem from it?
But then I thought about it. This doesn't mean you are giving great head to lots of guys (which is what first came into my head). It just means you are good at it. And if you are good at it, there is no reason not to gain a little self esteem or self confidence from it. Especially if this helps you build a stronger relationship with your partner.
Another thing that first popped into my head was that this sounds like a bit of a double standard. Why should be be proud of giving great head? I want to make it clear that these aren't my opinions, more like what I can imagine people might comment. I like to think I consider myself before forming opinions - look at both views. And again, I came to the conclusion that the first comment in my head was wrong. It's not at all a double standard. Because guys should also take it as a point of pride to be good at giving head in return. If you are a guy and aren't so great at eating pussy, get busy and start practicing. Every opportunity you get. Because it is a good feeling to be able to make you partner, your lover come like that. And it does add a little to your self esteem.
